I'm loving the block-a-palooza. I've learnt how to make geese in 2 ways now. I like that the triangle method (not sure if there is a technical name for this) wastes less fabric, however the rectangle and square way (oh yes I'm so well educated in these matters!!) is a lot easier to do in my opinion. Anyhow here are blocks 2 & 3.
This just had some many little squares, but although it took an age to cut and sew it is definately my favourite block so far. I love the colours and how well my seams match up (not perfect but really good for me).
More flying geese. Not really seeing how these are going together at the moment, but it is exciting to think that they will all look good together when they are all done.
Need to be patient until thursday now.
Beautiful block. Technically spot on. High Five, girl! I'm going to start mine tomorrow. I've had a horrible sinus headache today and I can't even consider standing over my cutting mat. I've been wondering too just how the heck these blocks are going to go together. I'm guessing there will be setting blocks that tie them up.
