The Pattern is Chosen...

I have decided which pattern I'll use for my daughters quilt.  It is a baby blanket by Vanessa at V and Co from the Moda Bakeshop.

I have also bought the fabric I am going to use from the John Lewis sale. It is Daisy Chain by Amy Butler and also Midwest Modern by Amy Butler because I needed 1 more fabric and this went the best I thought.

The pattern uses a Moda Honey Bun and I do love everything about Moda (the fabric, the precuts, the Bakeshop!), but this fabric was on sale so I'm going to have to cut it up into 1 1/2 inch strips.  Can't wait to get started, I think I'm starting to see why quilters hoard fabric as I can't stop looking at it!!!
